Nowadays, press-fitting is widely used in the manufacturing industry because it allows easy and fast installation repetitive, strong, inherently reliable. The quality of a assembly can be verified from curves forced monitoring. This study aims to investigate characteristics curve with various interference railway wheelset models determine limit that axles withstand at maximum holding torque without slipping plastic deformation. A three-dimensional finite element analysis examined force stress distributions using Abaqus FEA software. wheel axle obtained simulation were classified following European Standard EN 13260. showed whether they fell within boundary limits standard allow their practical application. also when deformation would occur, recommended interferences standard. Moreover, effect was numerically simulated for capacity range. Numeric compared theory: deviation 15–6%.
